Meet Our Staff The Westshire Village at the Lake staff are like family
to the residents who live here. Their customer service and professionalism are a few reasons that they stand alone in
their field, and just one of the many reasons why Westshire Village is Dane County's "Finest Independent Housing
Community"!
Cheryl Huie, the Community Director, has been at Westshire
Village at the Lake since 1998. Cheryl started working in the property management field in 1989, obtaining her Real
Estate license in 1990. During her years' in the property management business, she has also acquired such certifications
as her ARM designation (Accredited Resident Manager) and HCCP certification (Housing Credit Certified Professional).
Cheryl is also a notary public. Cheryl loves her position at Westshire Village and is known
for saying that "the job is a perfect fit" for her, it allows her the opportunity to work with Seniors and utilize
her experience and creativity to enhance their lives.
Gene Haug has been the Maintenance Supervisor for Westshire Village
since 2007, and has been an outstanding addition from day one! Gene's attention to detail, his work ethics and
his caring nature make him the perfect fit. Gene's professional approach to every work request is why
we hear compliments daily! Gene will make sure that you are well taken care
of - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Erin Grimm started at Westshire Village in the Essex Senior Rentals building
in 2007. Although this was her first job as a building manager, she has far surpassed all expectations for even someone
with many year's in management. Erin has started numerous new social events, increased the number of participants
in activities and has placed dozens of new, very happy, residents into beautiful new apartments at The Essex. The Essex residents have and continue to praise Erin for her upbeat nature and her respectful
and fair professional management style.

Gayle Rubin, Cheryl's Office Assistant, not only works at Westshire Village-she also calls it home! Gayle has been with Westshire
since 2002 and has always gone beyond the "call of duty" for Cheryl and the Westshire Village community! Gayle
enjoys the vast responsibilities that she has as Cheryl's assistant and is always looking for ways to be more helpful
to her and the Residents of Westshire.
Earl Smith takes care of the janitorial needs in the Stratford Building and just so happens to also live at Westshire Village
at the Lake! Earl takes great pride in his responsibilities to keep the building looking sparkling new and often goes beyond
expectations to help out! Earl is certainly an asset to the community in many different ways.
